Michael has over 50 years of experience in the printing trade. He started his apprenticeship at W W Curtis, one of the foremost printers in Coventry, in 1956. He was trained as a Compositor and Keyboard Operator on Monotype hot metal typesetting equipment. Having handed over the reins to son Peter, Michael is looking forward to winding down his input at IPH. He would like to thank all the friends and aquatiences he has made over the years.
Christine and Michael met in the 50’s at W W Curtis. After leaving the company and raising a family, Christine spent many years working for Chrysler (Talbot, Peugeot) as telephone supervisor. She left Peugeot in 1986 to help son Mark run IPH Litho from a small stable behind a country hotel; the company’s first trading premises. Christine looks after the accounts office.
